April (fka Kitkat) is a sweet and very calm dog.  She loves attention and happy to greet everyone.  She plays well with her foster mom’s dogs, but she does like ‘her space’ and her share of attention.  April enjoys being outside and going on long walks, and is happy to play ball or just hang out.  She know her basic commands, is house trained and is not a barker. 

She doesn’t want to go in a crate, and since she does fine baby gated in kitchen when left alone, I haven’t pushed the issue.  She is content laying in her bed.  So far she has only seen our barn cat from a distance, but doesn’t appear to be interested.  So not yet sure how she is close up with cats.  If you are looking for the sweetest of dogs to give lots of love and attention, April is your girl. 

She would do best either as an only dog or with another really calm dog.  A hyper dog would make her nervous.  (note:  she does want to be in another room when there are loud noises; i.e.:  using vacuum or blenders)
